We have two locations, downtown on the NE corner of 1st street and Roma, and near UNM on Central just west of University. There are a variety of spaces and rents, totally secure with 24/7 access, central heat and air, FREE wifi, & downtown is ADA compliant with ramps and an elevator, although there is no natural light(downtown). There is a gallery space, performance space, classrooms and lots of extras. One of the benefits of renting studio space from Chroma is that you get free use of our classroom and performance space. 5. Ease in controlling light in primary wet area

We are casting non-paying roles for an independent film in Albuquerque. New actors are encouraged to audition. (18 years of age and older please) No experience is necessary. A short description of the film is that it is about music and its ability to bring people together. We focus on the artistic mind and tell a story about how different it is when compared to main stream society. It is in some ways a love story, but not in the traditional sense.

We understand that if you are new to this, you may not have head shots available. We do not require that you obtain professional head shots. Auditions will be scheduled on a first come first serve basis. The principal function of this film is to be entered into the LA Film Festival and the New York Film Festival. All participants will the given film credit for involvement in this project. Participants who do exceptional work will be considered for future paying jobs.

"Selling Your Artwork on Etsy" Class - Saturday, November 21

I've been selling on Etsy for a couple of years now (just made my 600th sale from my Etsy store at http://LocalGringos.etsy.com!), and I find that my artist friends ask me a lot of questions about how to get started on Etsy - especially now that we're entering the holiday selling season. So I thought, rather than tell everyone individually, I'd get us all together in a group and teach a class!

This one-day workshop will cover all the ins-and-outs of setting up shop on Etsy.com; how to make your store stand out, create listings that sell, handle payments & shipping, and - most important! - how to promote your store with easy & free techniques. The idea is that you can attend this workshop on Saturday, and be up and running - and selling! - on Etsy by Sunday night.

The class will meet on Saturday, November 21 from 10 am to 3 pm at Aspects of Clay, 12504-B N Hwy 14, Sandia Park / Cedar Crest, next to The Old Schoolhouse Gallery. It's only $25 per person, or $35 per partnership (for example, an artist whose spouse is the designated computer expert).

We'll provide computer screen projection, but you are also welcome to bring your wireless portable if you like. And bring a bag lunch! We'll provide hot coffee, cold sodas & such.

As we'd like to keep this class at a comfortably small size, reservations are required for the limited seating.
