I paid over $2,000.00 for this unit. I sold my boat and no longer need the trolling motor.
It has built in sonar and will automatically follow the shore or follow a depth or a submerged creek bed.
Included is an extra transducer to attach to the stern and a fishfinder display.
The way it works is: you use the trolling motor conventionally and start following the shore. Once you get to the distance that you want to maintain. You press a button on the head of the trolling motor and it will start following the shore and steering to maintain the distance away from the shore that you set. The motor will speed up and slow down and steer to maintain the distance. It is kind of like having someone else do most of the steering when you are fishing.
The trolling motor can work by itself without the fishfinder display.
The trolling motor also works conventionally with a foot pedal.
The mounting bracket is included but is not in the photos.
