Anticipate possible classroom challenges and use facilitation skills to avoid disruptions. Look for cues that allow you to focus on the situation, issue, or behavior while maintaining participant dignity and self-esteem. Discover how your perceptions and delivery style can impact or contribute to a classroom situation. This course explores behaviors in the classroom such as participant passivity, negativity, over participation, argumentative and sidebar conversations. It also explores the communication strategies: how to influence the emotional reaction, provide support and come face-to-face. Skills practice and discussion are included. Robin Buckland
