You don't have to be a mind-blowing virtuoso on any of the instruments (none of us are), and if you can SING it would be a BIG PLUS as we only have one vocalist. It's a lot to ask for, but we are optimistic someone in Albuquerque or surrounding area can fit the bill.
We have rhythm guitar/vocal, bass & drums, and a rehearsal space. Each of us has gigging experience, want to work and more importantly want to have fun. Our intention is to quickly learn enough EASY classic rock standards to gig right away. Small gigs to start with, then work up to festivals, special events and maybe casinos. Once gigging we plan to slowly infuse the simple songs with more complicated (and personally satisfying) songs. Concentrating mostly on 60s to late 70s classic rock, some older country if necessary, but no disco or electronic music.

A local talent born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Ashley Moyer, aka SayWut!?, has been a fixture in the hip hop scene performing for Federal and state educational, environmental, and humanitarian aid workshops through the use of non-traditional, alternative music outlets. Known for her unique talent of beatboxing (producing sounds and beats through her mouth), Ashley is a highly decorated musician within the local hip-hop scene known for being the only award winning, successful female beat boxer. Ashley’s performances and workshops are directed towards community awareness and development through education and acceptance of alternative music outlets. Ashley has performed during the 2008 Pride Fest, is a loyal act to the Fire Women Dance parties, 2007 Toronto Global Hip Hop Festival, 2006 and 2007 Hip Hop Culture Day during the New Mexico State Fair, and 2007 Environmental Justice at the New Mexico state capital round house promoting environmental awareness throughout New Mexico. Her social and cultural workshops include Sequoia Adolescent Treatment Center, Albuquerque Public Schools, Santa Fe Public Schools, The Girls Ranch, Santa Fe Indian School, the YDDC (ABQ youth detention center), and New Mexico Youth Organized. She is also the 1st Place winner of the Albuquerque Fresh Talent show 2009. Benefits from that show went to P.A.C.A., New Mexico's largest no-kill animal shelter. Currently, she appears as Ms. January in the 2010 NM Rocks! Pinup themed calendar, which benefits Warehouse 508; a youth-centered creative arts space.

Several months passed with no word, and by the by, I went into a pawn shop on Menaul and saw my old Fender there. How did I know it was mine? It was a Fender PS 400, and I doubt there was more than one of them in a five state area. I told the guy behind the counter that that amp was stolen, and he got all in my face and wanted to see a police report and blah, blah, blah.
Like I said, the Fender was a beast, and the "PS", in my lexicon, stood for Piece of Squat, if you get my drift. I smiled and said, "You know what? I ain't gonna worry about it." I was happy with the deal I had walked away with. That practice amp went from being a $60 little piece of nothing to a $1200 collectible thirty years later, and I still enjoy playing the hell out of it and there's not a Fender, Marshall or Peavey that can touch it.
It's kind of a warped justice, but in the end, all things come home to roost. I don't know how my Fender made it 10 miles to the pawn shop, and I don't care.
Has your stuff been stolen and come to a certain ABQ music store in the laste few years? Have you gone in to identify your belongings and it is your stuff and they modified it or removed you serial # but your stickers, scratches and more are still there from years and years of use?

Yes i am pitchy too ,we all have our bad days...i do 10 takes on a line sometimes.But if your Demo sounds like an poor garage demo ....Than you may want to work on your art before you put out a demo
