This morning we were contacted by someone via email claiming that the dog was hers. Something just didn't feel right. We asked her to provide more information about the dog, and what was provided was vague, and when asked why she waited four weeks to look for her dog, the excuse didn't make sense either. We got a little more direct in our email, and have not heard from her since. Based on this, she is probably looking for another person to try and fool.

I have an awful feeling that there may be people out there who try and claim found animals after a few weeks. I have heard that some dogs are used as bait dogs for dogfights, or who knows what else. Anyway, in the past reuniting a dog with its owner has been a joy, but based on our experience today, I would urge everyone to be vigilant and ask a few questions, including asking for a photograph. If you aren’t familiar with these wonderful animals, here are a few things you should know about caring for one.
•They don’t need heat, and in fact need to be kept at a temperature under 85 degrees. That might be a concern in the summer if you don’t have a cooler.
•They don’t need to eat bugs, there is a powdered meal replacement formula that is easily available and that most crested geckos love.
•They don’t need a lot of space, an adult crested can live happily in a 20 gallon or equivalent tank.
•Most crested geckos are socially compatible with others and can live in groups, just be aware that males may fight and if you put males and females together they may breed.
•There is a lot of really great information on the internet about crested geckos! If you think you would like to adopt mine, please do a little research to ensure you will be able to care for it.
•They are some of the nicest reptiles to keep, most tolerate handling and many seem to like it. They are actually “sticky” geckos and can climb almost anything, and when you hold them they have a velvety sort of feel.

I have one female australian shepard mix, she is about 4 years old. She is microchipped and spayed. She is about 40 pounds brown and white. She is absolutely friendly, loves people and children. Indoor/Outdoor. She is a little timid if you yell or raise your hand to here, so she needs a calm happy home. She has some training, but acts like she knows nothing but 'roll over and rub my belly'! I also have a 8 month old kitten. He is neutered, chipped, and UTD on his shots and city license. He is brown and gray tabby. He is good with dogs, is indoor only, but seems to show interest in the outdoors. He still has the kitten "play" but is growing into his calm. He likes to do stuff on his time but loves to follow his people around. He likes water, in he will sit in the sink or "help" wash dishes. I can send pictures on request. There is no rehoming fee if it is a good home. PLEASE help me find homes for them. I have until the end of December before I have no choice but take them to a shelter. They are black with copper eyes. Very pretty eyes. The female (we've named her Billie) has some subtle stripes that you can only see in direct sunlight, oddly enough. She loves to be held like a baby and purr while getting her stomach scratched.

The male (we've named him Geno) loves rubbing against people's feet and getting his head and neck scratched.

They both love attention, and have never bitten or clawed. They've played before, but know how not to hurt you.

We love the cats, but we are so busy with work and school, that the cats spend much of their time cooped up in the spare bedroom where there's not much they can get into. But we feel very sorry for them being in the same room all day long.

We won't charge any fees, they are free, but they still need to be spayed/neutered.

Just so their stay is more comfortable while they are in my care.
We also pet sit puppies! We have lots of toys and puppy pads laying around. My sister just got a puppy and I watch him every day. So your puppy will have a gentle puppy friend to play with.
