About the house--it's very secure, with new windows and security doors. It's a quick walk from the house (5 min) to the RapidRide stop, so it's easy to get to campus within 15 minutes by bus. By bike, it's about 8-10 minutes. The house is tucked back away from the street, with a pretty gated yard, so it's very private. Big, open kitchen, washer/dryer, dishwasher, hardwood floors, saltillo tile in the kitchen, arched doorways, big front yard with small patio, side yard with wooden deck and flowers and trees. I've got the house furnished with nice furniture. Your bedroom is unfurnished, but I have an extra desk and shelves if you'd like them. Landlord is really friendly and great. I could go on and on--I've lived here for almost two years and love it!
About me--I'm a senior Biochem student at UNM, so I study a lot; I'm easygoing and enjoy hanging with friends. When I do have friends over, I usually only have 1 or 2 people over...no party-throwing for me. I need to find a roommate because my current roommate is moving out-of-state for a new job. Ideally, my roommate would be responsible and easygoing, preferably a female UNM student like me. I have a cat (who stays inside), so pets are fine with me. I'd prefer cats over dogs.
