For long bed truck. Has jacks fabricated for dually but you can remove the fabrication if you don't need the extra clearance.
Has damage in over head window area. Window removed to access damage area- can put window back in and then the damage area isn't all that bad or big. Anyone with slight handy experience can fix this. All appliances in it work and work great. Has stove with exhaust fan system, forced flushing type toilet, kitchen sink with forced water, fridge that works off propane or electric, water tank and pumping system, and a heater that works using a thermostat so you can set your temp. The camper works self contained off of propane and marine battery or you can hook up to electric source. Just the appliances in it are worth what I am asking.
Best yet, this is a 90s model, so the cushions aren't all deteriorated and turning into dust. Would be great to tow a boat, horse trailer, etc and have living quarters. Bought cause my ex wouldn't sleep in a tent and I love to camp. Also has a regular mattress not a rv/thin and uncomfortable one.
Sleeps 3-4 adults comfortably more if you have kids. Bed over cab is queen or full and kitchen table lays flat and you have a full size sleeping space.
...
What caused the damage? An overhang of some sort??? a guy did it before we bought it. The main issue is the hole area as you can see. Anything else is merely aesthetic in my opinion. All the appliances work and work great. I used the camper 3 times for solo trips with a gal friend of mine. So I can attest that it all worked the last time I used it.
How much does the camper weigh? I have no idea. I know you have to have a regular size (large) truck that has an 8 foot bed. We had a chevy dually. We made fabrication/inserts added to the jacks to give more wheel clearance.
Can you email me more pictures of the camper as well as more of the damaged area? yes respond to ad and can email a few more.
So here's the story .... I paid the guy 1200 from an ad that was on craigslist too. Before we bought it all my guy friends agreed that the camper as is was worth 3000 and it was a good deal for what we wanted it for. It's been sitting here for a year taking up space. I no longer have a truck. So I figure hey I'm going to put it on CL. It's one of the lowest priorities I have so if I sell it or not not a big deal, these things go like hotcakes come the first warm day at the end of Winter. I am asking $700 firm-cash only.
If you are still interested... you can come see it and check it out. I have a difficult time getting to my emails before the weekend. I am located at 98th and Central area. If responding I will not have email access again until Sat morning. Please leave your name an number and I will be checking my email by phone throughout the day and will call back shortly.
Thanks!
