For the past three years I was in a similar situation in a different city and lived in the same shared residence for the 3 years. The residence was a nice house with parking, washer/dryer, full house priviledges, no smoking inside, no serious partying, close to the university and I could ride my bike regularly. The group that lived in the house were mainly associated with the nearby university and ranged in age from 20 to 60 ........ "drama" was not really a problem.

If you have a room in a shared house nearby to UNM that you might want to rent out beginning in January (for minimum one semester lease), please email me. If thoughts are mutual maybe we can meet during an upcoming campus visit.

Were a local ABQ rock band who is looking for a place that we can use as our bands rehearsal space. We can pay $200 a month. We used to have an old old office building in the industrial part of 2nd St, that we used to practice in, but when the building was resold we got the boot. It needs to have electricity, be somewhere where we can practice our music at regular loud volume and not have to worry about disturbing anyone (we usually only play in the evenings, so if there are daytime activities located there, we will not bother them) . and it needs to be Secure!!! or at least a place that we can Make Secure by adding what ever we need to make it secure for our gear to be stored there. At our old place we used to pay $200 a month, which included everything, and we have been able to consistently pay that for years without any problems, so this is the price range we would like to stay in.

Everyone in the band is over 30yrs old, so we are not some young pups looking to destroy the walls or a place to binge drink, were all professional working stiffs who are very respectful of our environments and just need a place to be loud away from the wives.

If you have something we can look at, or know someone who does please let me know.

I am 21 (22 in about 3 weeks). I have a golden retriever puppy. I am currently job hunting, but no luck yet. I am looking for a room to rent, I can help wth groceries, and rent when I get a job (not sure how much yet). For now, I am able to help with childcare, pets/horses, housesitting (as I have years of experience in all of those)...housecleaning I can always do. My puppy is almost 4 months, he's mostly house trained (just has a accident here and there). He's not so bad. I used to be a dog trainer, so he knows most commands, and is very well manered, has his shots, well groomed, but does get in hyper stages since he is a puppy still.

Today was, technically, my last day here, but all agreed to give me through next weekend to get out.

I was stranded, with no vehicle, in the east mountains, with 2 injured dogs for a week. I made it back to town 20 minutes before court today.

Many people responded to my posts about needing housing for my cats, dogs and goats, personal safety and impending homelessness.

I have a new home in Belen. The dogs are temporarily boarded. The goats and cats come from Ft. S. to Belen Saturday, where the goats will be boarded until I get a shelter/pen built for them. The cats can move in to the new place. I've only seen 3 of 4 of them today; they've been alone here for a week and their feeding wasn't what I'd hoped. I came home to empty food and water dishes. Hopefully, they'll all be here by Saturday.

If I'm not out of here on the 26th, I'll be arrested. My remaining possessions will go to the dump.

I'll put up fliers in town tomorrow, in case people want stuff.

Some people are driving in from Albq. area to Ft. S to help me get out of here.



I have a home. People are helping me retrieve my possessions and animals.
