SWSI looking for an experienced director to manage our athletics department and the overall direction for our elite, talented performance specialists. Director will oversee the specialists and the schedule for team training and individual athletes looking to improve their athletic performance. Position leads for growth in the company.
SWSI is the only professional fitness/athletics company in NM working with professional athletes. Training focuses on dynamic and functional movements-- not your typical gym setting. You may customize and implement your own specialty class or lecture- creativity will be rewarded and highly encouraged!
Position Summary
Assume responsibility and accountability for our Athletic Department including but not limited to;
*Oversee & provide quality performance training and education
*Evaluate performance specialists’ monthly goals
*Manage performance training department’s budget
*Develop and administer programs
*Provide team instruction and one-on-one athletic instruction to SWSI clients
*Attend monthly staff meetings
*Days, evenings and weekends
*Attendance at events that match fitness/athletic interests
*Design, implement and/or facilitate a Class or Specialty Program monthly
Job Qualifications
*Graduate of a University with at least a B.S. in related field of study
*Current Certification from a professional fitness association
*ATC, NSCA-CSCS or NASM-PES preferred
*Current CPR and First Aid
Desired Experience
*Experience in organized sports
*Fitness center managerial experience
*Personal Training individuals and small groups
*Working with recreational, college, professional or Olympic level athletes
