3.8 cu ft, 11 auto cycles. Timed dry. Moisture sensor, 2 temp settings. Auto cycle. Long vent exhaust system.
So with this model, it has physical switches for power, temperature and start. When I got it, the physical switch for the power was broken. The list price is something crazy (like I said....24" stackables are super rare), like $200 and some odd dollars. For a physical rocker switch! Just crazy. Even pre-owned, cheapest I could find was like $150. So I went ahead and upgraded, in order to fix the issue as well as to make it more reasonably priced for any future service. So what we did here is installed two new rocker switches to replace the original single two pole rocker switch. This is all shown in detail in the pics, and VERY thoroughly researched and extensively tested for safety purposes.
The switches are Gardner-Bender. A well known and reliable brand for quality built components. They exactly mimic the function of the original switch, which is to complete the circuit for the two seperate 120v poles in order to allow a "powered" state to the control board to enable normal operation and function.
MOST importantly for safety, they are quality built and properly rated. These switches are rated for 16 amp at 125v each. The dryer specs are rated for 12.5 amp at 240v, so technically these switches are OVERrated, since each pole is half. But like I say, rated with plenty of room for extra, and EXTENSIVELY tested, like 10 cycles and 20 hours of continuous testing. No problems, no overheating on the switches, no risk. Professionally wired, proper grounding and gauge of wires used, solid connectors to prevent any arcing, heat shrink insulation and soldering, as shown in the pics.
Just like when you buy new in the stores, it does not come with a power cord. I have plenty in stock, though, all types. So if you let me know what plug configuration you have, I will put the proper cord on for you for half of what they cost new.
In town, priced right, can deliver and install for a fee. Free removal of your old unit in most cases.
$200 firm, which is ridiculous cheap. These models are really expensive due to their rarity. Most of the time you would want a full size model, stackable or not, but when you need something specialty like this: there is no substitute. Deeeeeep discounts right now to liquidate some inventory, very limited time only, so this price is firm.
