This framed, brass rubbing represents Thomas Peyton (1418-1484) and his first wife, Margaret Bernard Peyton. It is handmade from Saint Andrew’s Church, Isleham, Cambridgeshire.
Margaret died “in about 1445, at about the age of 25, following the birth of her fourth child. The clothing that she is shown wearing in on the memorial brass seem to date to 1480s, when the brass was designed.” Source:
