A gingerbread (kitchen or parlor) clock made be the William L. Gilbert Clock Company in Winsted, CT around 1875. It was given as a wedding gift on 29 April 1875 and has been in the same family until now. The model name is Biller and the label is still on the back. It is a 30-hour clock with key. It strikes hourly, counting the hour, on a coiled gong. It stands about 20 1/2 inches tall, a width of 12 inches, and a depth of 4 inches. It has a 5-inch dial with Roman numerals. The wooden case is made of both oak and walnut. Fully functional and keeps good time.
