I have an antique wood carousel horse carved by Parker in Leavenworth, KS circa 1918 mounted on a brass pole with a finished wood base. Very collectable, own a piece of history. This horse was last at Spring Lake Park in Oklahoma City, OK and was purchased by the park around 1924 and rode on the carousel until 1970. She is a jumper featuring a bear skin saddle and saddle bags with foliage inside the bags. One large jewel on the chest, one medium jewel on the side missing and two of the small glass jewels on the side missing as well as the whites of one eye. All of these are replaceable. The four horseshoes have Leavenworth stamped into them indicating that they are original. Measures approximately 68" long x 35" tall x 12" wide. I have the provenance on the horse. Local pick up only, no shipping. Paid $6,350 in 2003. Will sell for $5,000 cash only
