Wooden case with adamantine finish mantle clock made by the Seth Thomas Clock Company in Thomaston, Connecticut circa 1900 (similar models in the 1900 catalog). Gilt metal feet and side lion head ornaments. 5-inch dial. The black case with reddish adamantine portions is about 10 3/4 inches high; 16 3/4 inches wide; and 6 1/2 inches deep. The mechanical movement is 8-day (wind once per week) and the strike is on cathedral gong - once on the half hour and the count of the hour on the hour. Has a double-sided key - one side to wind the time and strike mainsprings and the other side to adjust the time rate (fast/slow) on the front of the clock. Clock is fully functional and keeps time well.

Movement has been completely disassembled, each part cleaned, pivots polished, worn bushings replaced, reassembled, freshly lubricated and adjusted - for many more years of service!

$225. Cash only. Email ("reply" above) or call/text (903 - zero three fiftysix) for more information. Thanks for looking!
