This vintage, handmade crib quilt is adorned with twelve unique Sunbonnet Sue characters. Each is distinct in her unique dress print, accessorized by her complimenting sunbonnet and adorned with embroidered hat ribbons and flowers. It's truly the cutest quilt and perfect for your nursery. It was handmade in 1980 and has been in storage the whole time other than the few months it was draped over the end of my crib for decoration. It was always too pretty to use but it deserves to be in a home that will display it proudly. There's such an abundance of handiwork and it's very precise and well done that it's worth showing off.

This crib quilt is 53" by 39". It is not cotton and my best guess is it's polyester, but I do not know. There is no care or material information. I washed it on delicate cycle with cold water and it came out beautifully, freshened after 40 years of storage and undamaged. It is free of stains, tears, loose stitches, mold or mildew damage, sun damage, and has no weird smells.
