Interesting for a Chinese bike. Way cooler than meets-the-eye at first
Probably late 90s.
Quality polished aluminum frame is on par with Giants/Treks of the era. Unusually decent quality tubing for a Chinese frame. Surprisingly lightweight. Super nice welds! Chromed segmented steel fork is stout and feels fantastic.
Cool anodized rear hub. All Shimano components. Albeit cheap Shimano components, the crank does have a reasonably cool look to it unlike so many cheap plastic trim pieces of that sort on spot welded cranks.
A bmx or maybe bullmoose style handlebar, Some lighter/modern wheels and an upgraded drivetrain would make this a respectable, fun, lightweight 90s mtb build and who doesn't like an all-chromed out bike?
Or just ride it as is. Drivetrain doesn't appear to have much wear. The bike feels tight and rides great as is.
Frame measures 16 or 17 inches, depending on where you measure from. Either way, it is solidly a "medium" frame size. I am 5'7" and it is a PERFECT size frame for me.
If this doesn't sell.....I'll totally keep it and build it for myself.
