1993 Colnago Master Word Perfect Team bike fabricated with Columbus Gilco steel tubing. It measures 56 cm C-C top tube/57.5 cm C-C seat tube. Full Campy Chorus Gruppo, newer cartridge BB, Campy Record 172.5 mm cranks with 42/52 chain rings, 12-29 cassette, 3T "Colnago" panto quill stem (80 mm), 3T Criterium bars 44 cm with newer Colnago bar tape, generic headset, Campy aero seat-post, Precisa fork with investment cast crown and blue anodized Ambrosio "Excellence" Colnago wheels with 25 mm whitewall tires. Selle Italia saddle and blue LOOK peddles (not white as pictured). The tubing is star-shaped ("star-profiled") with four distinct ribs or crimps, increasing rigidity. It's a great stiff frame that climbs and sprints well. Two SS bottle cages. Stand-over height is 32 3/4". It was Franz Maasen's Word Perfect Team race bike in 1993 and it has a race number eyelet on the bottom of the top tube. It was originally built with a Suntour Superb Pro Gruppo. The chrome is in VG condition, paint is in good overall condition and has the usual signs of wear for a 30+ year old bike. Saddle bag EXCLUDED.
