The cataraft went down the GC, the Salmon before I was driving an automobile. She got new bladders in 2019, only one mellow overnight trip since then right after I bought her from the old man who bought her from AIRE in 1999. Always stored indoors, climate controlled, usually inflated. Old oars and NRS frame but I trust the AIRE replacement double bladders in each hull. This thing is a classic, no longer in production.

I sent one of the hulls back to AIRE for factory repair of a stitched seam in the outer armor in 2019 and I trust this boat’s riverworthiness in everything up to and especially including Lava Falls in the GC (have run it four times myself in other boats).

This thing can handle seven passengers for town floats with ease. One or two people can readily manage setup and takedown.

The Cloud 9 I purchased new in 2018, used it a little on the Poudre, has newer Sawyer oars (2) with counterweights, a WD single bay Chama frame. R2’ing this thing in deep Class IV is an absolute riot. Perfect for the grumpy solo trip or for two for a quick day on the river. The frame and oars break down on this one so it can easily be carried in a sedan.

I’ve also got Alpacka rafts (2012 and 2019) I am looking to part with, lotsa straps, a drybox and seats for the Cat, assorted river gear I want to sell. I am downsizing rapidly so come take a look and make an offer.
