An older vintage for sure, possibly antique brown clay with glossy clear glaze storage jar from China. It features incised abstract designs on the exterior. Interior is glazed. A hefty piece, with thick walls, it weighs 17 lbs. 13 oz. and measures about 12” high x 12” across at widest, base is 9" across. Opening is 4.5 across. A Chinese style crock made for preserving kitchen items such as pickled foods, stands alone as decor, or use as a large floor vase. No chips, cracks or damage to crock.
