I have also been in contact with several other folks who have had just the same luck or worse with this guy.
This guy is a drug addict, and it showed when I picked up the transmission. He had my transmission for 1 1/2 months and put it back together without actually rebuilding it or inspecting it. He was supposed to do a performance build. I decided to learn to rebuild this trans myself which I should have done from the get-go. I just don't normally have much time to do these. It is actually very easy but takes time and organization skills. He just didn't do anything inside. In fact, there was still original fluid inside. He stripped several bolt threads and bolt heads. Many parts of the valve body needed to be replaced. The direct clutch drum needed to be replaced and there were some severely worn splines on 2 shafts. Too many other things to mention. This thing would have died within a few miles.
