Just in time for winter - a Jeep with no doors and no roof! Ok, it has a fabric roof and soft doors (upper doors will be included). I bought this Jeep a couple years ago as a project but work has dominated my life and I no longer have the energy for it. It sat under a carport for 10 years, I rescued it and have done quite a bit of work to it. Cleaned the gas tank, replaced the fuel pump (which was then replaced again by Leonard Tire, guess I got a bad part), alternator, front brakes, fluids, and some fuses/relays. I bought 5 brand new Wrangler tires, a new bikini top, and spare tire cover. I will include a new rear seat with hardware also.
Stock stereo works, though the speakers could use replacement. The catalytic converter rattles a little, I'll include a new one with the sale. There is a short in the blower system that I'm currently trying to find. A bit of surface rust from its time in Florida and Texas, but nothing structural. It's in great mechanical shape, - starts after one or two cranks and shifts well.
It does have a salvage title from being stolen in Texas. However, nothing seems wrong with the ignition. 3 previous owners and I can provide the Carfax if you'd like to see it.
I'd prefer to sell to someone that will keep it stock, but it would make a great platform for a sweet build. These newer YJ's have the strongest frame ever built by Jeep and with the immortal 4.0 inline-6, this little guy will stay with you for a long time. In fact, 1995 was the last year the YJ was made. Will consider all offers, though I first challenge you to find a stock automatic YJ with less than 100k miles. Thanks!
