1908. SESSIONS. Newport. Mantel clock. Cathedral gong. Half hour strike, and hour count. 8 day wind up pendulum clock. 6" English gold and silver dial. Opaque blueish-white glass (looks more blue in the pictures but more white in person), and gold tone metal grill work on the bottom of the door. Glass panel at the top of the door. Solid mahogany wood case. Art nouveau style.
16-1/2" tall.
10-1/2" wide, (at the base, the widest part).
4-3/4" front to back, (at the base, the biggest part).
Tested and working. Keeps time well. Tho once you get it you will need to get it dialed in for you. By first making sure it's level, get it wound (caution to not over wind), get the pendulum going, and watch it over a day or a few and then adjust the pendulum as needed to speed up or slow down the time, rewind the springs as needed to test again, repeating as needed until it's more dialed in better keeping time appropriately for you, or it may run fast or slow.
Overall decent shape for its age. Looks like it was kept well oiled, and serviced, and cared for. The face of the pendulum is a little beat up (unsure if it's original), and the end of the key has a twist and split (unsure if it's original).
