Authentic Mid-Century Modern solid wood lounge armchair in the manner of Viko Baumritter.

Chair has received a complete loving go-through and is in excellent condition. The original cushions have been re-upholstered in off-white vinyl material and cushion foam, the wood frame has received a full transformation and finished in a walnut stain, and the straps have been replaced with new leather for cushion support.

Features the signature spindle backrest that Baumritter was known for and this is the company’s most famous and collectible design, produced in the 1960s before they became the coperate monstrosity, that is, Ethan Allen.
