This dresser is something else. Beautiful wood grain throughout, ornate brass drawer pulls, 2 large lower drawers, 2 small top drawers on each side and one statement center drawer on top with different ornate brass dangling pulls. Dovetail joinery on all drawers.
This piece was made by The A.C. Norquist Furniture Company out of Jamestown, NY. They were founded in 1881. August and Charles Norquist only had a $175 capital to work from when they started making furniture. By 1920 they had employed 125 men.
This piece is from the early 1900s.
Very heavy and a rather large dresser, so much storage!!
Does look art deco styling, or MCM.
