Excellent condition, fully refinished and sealed. Features its original aluminum casted finger drawer pulls, dovetail drawer joinery, solid wood construction with high quality walnut wood veneers, and the original foil Herman Miller Maker mark sticker on the top RH side of the top drawer. I added an authentic Herman Miller medallion on the top ridge of the top drawer, where the original inset medallion had since fallen off and was lost.
Investment level piece of furniture that retains historical and financial significance. This piece was designed in the late 1940s and was sold new in the early 50s and retailed for $125 at the time. With inflation, along with the GN premium, that is like 1400-1600 today.
These do not come up very often. This piece was lovingly redone and it took many hours to do so.
Overall in excellent condition, with minor imperfections. See photo of the top surface where a very light ring appears in certain light, but very difficult to notice. Cash only please!
