$300 antique dresser

Measures: 36” length, 18” deep, 32 inches high (at top of dresser) / 65” high at the back with mirror in place

In cleaning and repairing I found that this dresser was manufactured in 1915. The same year the Lusitania was sunk, spurring US involvement in WW1. The same year babe Ruth hit his first major league home run. The same year that Rocky Mountain park was designated as a National Park. I like to think that I have given her another 109 years of life with my reimaginings

Sanded and cleaned the entire top of the dresser had to be replaced (reinstalled over what was already in place). Stained and sealed with polyurethane . The drawers run smooth, they have been alighened and waxed. The runners have been repaired as needed. The drawer fronts were sanded, stained and sealed with polyurethane. This dresser has so many great features – the small drawer on the table top. The shelf (additional storage/display) at the back of the harp. The hardware/pulls are original – one is broken but it is nonetheless functional (If I could have found a match I would have but I hesitated to discard it’s history but replacing all the hardware pulls).
