Vintage 1982 Eames Aluminum Group Soft Pad Executive Chair, Model EA420, designed by Charles and Ray Eames for Herman Miller in 1969. Cast aluminum frame with adjustable height four-star base, tilt control mechanism, and casters for carpeted floors. Highly desirable brown leather upholstery. Original tags are present.

Good unrestored condition. Leather and aluminum are patinated as shown in photos. Casters are non-original. Foam padding is a bit tired, but is easily replaced (there are hidden zippers in each leather section). Chair is otherwise sturdy, clean, comfortable, and in very usable condition. Similar examples are currently listed for $2,300 to $4,000.
