These chicks were hatched out of a mix of Ameraucana, easter egger and olive egger eggs. No marans in this mix. These are all green and blue egg layers, with chances of pink (light brown with a heavy bloom) and brown. We have beards and muffs, as can be seen in the pictures I've included of some adults.
Looking to make your own rainbow basket of eggs? These are the chicks that can help make that happen! Bring beauty to your breakfast once these lovely little chicks grow up!
Ameraucana, easter eggers and olive eggers are good dual purpose birds, used for both eggs and meat. They start laying between 5-7 months, and typically lay 3-5 eggs a week.
