These are original acrylic paintings done directly on genuine suede/brushed leather backgrounds—a signature technique Johnson used to give the artwork a rich, authentic, earthy texture that perfectly mimics Native American pottery.

The Set Includes:
Vertical Hopi Painting: Features a traditional dual-spouted Pueblo Wedding Vase with geometric wing and bird motifs.
Horizontal Santo Domingo Painting: Features a wide-bodied Olla/seed jar with iconic black geometric leaf patterns and a red slip bottom.
