JOB SUMMARY: Human Resources Generalist This role provides HR support to more than 60 associes our Albuquerque Distribution Center. It is a full-time, onsite position, Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. (Remote work is not available). As the Human Resources Generalist, you will lead the daily administrion of core human resources functions, including employee relions, HR operions, record management, and special initiives, while ensuring full compliance with GSF policies as well as federal and ste labor regulions. Provide guidance, support, and issue resolutions for employees on a wide range of HR topics, including new hire oriention, benefits counseling, payroll, safety practices, drug and alcohol testing, and workplace conduct policies. Ensure all required federal and ste labor regulions (e.g., FLSA, FMLA, EEO, ADA, Title VII) are properly communiced and visibly posted, maintaining full compliance and fostering a well-informed, safe, and respectful work environment.
Support recruitment, selection, placement, and onboarding of exempt, non-exempt, and hourly associes to achieve required staffing levels and ensure selection of highly qualified candides. Maintain and upde staffing trackers weekly to monitor progress, identify gaps, and support proactive workforce planning.
Conduct new hire oriention sessions to ensure a smooth onboarding experience, familiarize employees with company policies and culture, and set the foundion for long-term success.
Provide guidance to managers and supervisors regarding implemention of HR policies and procedures to ensure fair and compliant human resources practices.
Conduct and document workplace investigions, including harassment or discriminion concerns, and provide evidence-based guidance and recommendions to managers and the Regional HR Manager to ensure fair, timely resolution and a safe, compliant work environment.
Ensure completion and timely follow-up of 30-, 60-, and 90-day new-hire reviews by coordining with managers, tracking compliance, and auditing documention to verify accuracy and program effectiveness.
Coordine and deliver HR-reled training programs for managers and employees, including onboarding, compliance, performance management, and company policies. Identify training needs, track completion, and ensure programs meet regulory requirements and organizional goals.
Manage and process weekly payroll, including audits, PTO balance reconciliion, and timely entry of progressive wage increases.
Oversee the maintenance and organizion of all HR records, including electronic personnel files, new hire documention, I-9 forms, and policy manuals. Ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with company standards and federal/ste regulions while driving consistent updes and best-in-class record-keeping practices.
Communice HR policies, procedures, and programs to ensure employees are well-informed, supported, and consistently opere in compliance with company standards and regulory requirements. Serve as a trusted resource for understanding and applying HR guidelines effectively.
Administer performance management and appraisal programs to ensure effectiveness, consistency, and alignment with organizional goals.
Implement safety programs and practices to ensure compliance with GSF standards and regulory agencies (e.g., OSHA, DOT), promoting a safe and healthy environment for all associes.
Coordine the workers’ compension program, including reporting incidents, coordining claims with carriers, supporting injured employees, ensuring timely documention, and tracking case progress. Collabore with managers to implement return-to-work programs and safety improvements while maintaining compliance with all applicable federal and ste regulions.
Monitor employee leave programs, including FMLA, short- and long-term disability, and other stutory or company-provided leaves. Ensure timely processing, accure documention, and compliance with federal, ste, and company policies. Provide guidance to managers and employees on leave eligibility, return-to-work requirements, and accommodions, while maintaining confidentiality and supporting workforce continuity.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Educion/Certificion: Bachelor’s degree in business administrion, human resources, or a reled field from an accredited college or university. PHR and/or SPHR certificion from SHRM or a college plus demonstred years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree. Experience: 5 to 10 years of experience in general human resources.
