These Japanese bolo ties (sometimes called bola tie or shoestring necktie) were purchased in Japan in 1985 (34 years ago). They are hand made in the shape of Noh masks from Japanese Noh theater characters. The makers seal is present on the backs (better seen in the female character mask, but does not photograph well). They are made of pottery and are hand painted.

The masks are each 1.5 x 2.24 x 0.75 inches; the blue and black ties are each 41 inches long and have pottery tips. The surfaces have minor wear marks on the surface (see photos), but they are otherwise in very good condition.
The price is the total for both ties combines.
