Dykon Blasting is an explosive blasting company focused on close-in and technical blasting applications to remove rock for construction applications. The blaster apprentice or laborer will work directly with the blast crew under the supervision of the blaster to assist with loading, stemming, inventory, operating small equipment like a skid steer/back hoe, etc. The current project outlook in this area is 6 to 12 months with additional travel work following the completion of the a DOT widening project if they are willing to travel. The interested candidate must be 18 years of age and available to work full time 6 days a week. The applicant must have a clear background check, be able to own a fire arm, no domestic violence charges, etc. to be able to be cleared by the ATF. We are eager to hire someone in the very near future and any construction background is a plus. If working from out of town Dykon will provide an travel trailer and RV spot, hourly pay, and per diem. We work across the US but this job area will be focused between Albuquerque and Edgewood.
