Groundskeeper/ Maintenance Technician must maintain a professional and courteous manner with residents, visitors, contractors and fellow employees. Maintenance Techs must have basic hand tools. One must have the ability to follow oral and written instructions and be able to maintain effective and cooperative working relationship.
Weekly Schedule: Saturday & Sunday 2 hours, Monday through Friday 5 hours.
MUST BE ABLE TO WORK 2 HOURS EVERY SATURDAY & SUNDAY NON-NEGOTIABLE
MUST HAVE TOOLS AND BE AVAILABLE TO START RIGHT AWAY
1. Trash Compactor needs to be cleaned throughout the day, including weekends. Large Item removal area needs to be cleaned daily. Exterior trash cans and doggy poop stations needs to be maintained daily.
2. Grounds/Cleaning Community Room/Gym/Playgrounds: includes maintaining a tidy appearance of the community, such as picking up grounds around the exterior/interior of the property, leasing office, clubhouses, gym, restrooms and playgrounds. Sweeping, mopping, wiping down areas, cleaning windows, and throwing trash. Exterior sweeping sidewalks of debris, picking up leaves, emptying trash receptacles, cleaning gutters, and pulling weeds.
3. Drywall repair: Patching, taping, and match texturing, from wear and tear and wall damage.
4. Painting: includes touch-ups, full paint and ceiling too.
5. Plumbing: includes the MINOR repair, replacement or installation of faucets, pipes, toilets, garbage disposals.
6. Customer service: includes professional, prompt, and courteous correspondence with renters when scheduling and providing maintenance services, and with contracted vendors that provide additional facility services.
