Younes rushed the door as I was letting another cat back into the house on the evening of May 9, 2026. He wouldn't be persuaded to come in, and, very sadly, he never came home.
He's stayed out all night before, is calm, savvy, knows the neighborhood, and has a healthy fear of dangers. He knows and loves his home-- he jumps up insistently on the window bars of whatever room I’m in whenever he's ready to come in, sometimes annoyingly often!
