2006 Triumph Tiger 955i
Runs great. Brakes great. Handles great, even for a 500lb tall motorcycle. Clean title in-hand.
I love this motorcycle. If it had ABS, I'd ride it forever. I'm selling to get a Tiger 800 with ABS.
Some scratches, but overall in very good condition.
955cc inline triple, 6 speed, a little over 100 HP (full specs available here: https://www.motorcyclespecs.co.za/model/triu/triumph_tiger_955%2005.htm )
-Cee Bailey's windscreen, which is what's on it right now
is cracked, but you'll have several replacement choices, please see pics
(crack was super glued immediately after creation
and hasn't grown in 10 months of riding)
-LED headlamps, both bulbs replaced OEM halogens
-LED AUX lights mounted to crash bars
-Full Heed crash bars, with bar bags
-Adjustable aluminum levers
-Oxford adv heated grips
-Rox bar risers
-milled aluminum rider pegs (black)
Last major service was at 36k miles (mid-2018), which included all the following at that time:
-valve clearance check
-new air filter
-new fuel pump, filter & sock
-new steal braided brake lines (obviously includes a full line flush / new fluid)
-new brake pads F & R
-new front brake rotors
-new 530 chain
-new SuperSprox rear sprocket
-new larger-than-OEM aluminum radiator
-new coolant system hoses and clamps
-new orange coolant
In July of this year (2019), I had to replace the stator:
-Rick's Motorsport Electric Stator
-Triumph OEM stator gasket
-ThrottleX ADX14 AGM battery
New tires at 42,230 miles, Sept. 2019: Shinko E 705 radial tires F&R (110/80 r19 59htL front, and 150/70 r17 69htL rear)
Chain has been lubed, PJ's Blue, after every other full tank fill (400-500ish miles).
Chain cleaned regularly with Muc-off spray cleaner, brushes, rags, and elbow grease.
Additional parts to go with motorcycle:
-four extra windscreens (please see pic)
-one K&N oil filter, if I don't get around to changing it soon
(Its due for new oil at 44,500 miles,
last oil change was at 38,500 miles)
-Original Owner's Manual
-Triumph Tiger 955i Service Manual
***Pictured, but NOT going with motorcycle (unless you buy them from me):
-RAM mount & X-Grip
-Triumph tank bag
I'm at least the 3rd owner. As far as I know, it's never been crashed at speed. I've personally dropped it on its side 4 times; 3 in my garage or yard, once on trail - all my drops were at, or near, zero mph. The one trail fall was to the left side (see pic for resulting scratch on crash bar).
