This seat features the embossed "Ninja" logo because it is the passenger companion piece to the Kawasaki OEM Gel Comfort Seat upgrade. Kawasaki sold these premium gel comfort seats as factory-authorized accessories through their catalog. When a rider purchased the upgraded rider gel seat, it included this matching passenger pillion pad featuring the embossed branding to complete the look.
