It sounds clear and crisp with no unwanted noise. Comes with the original foot switch to change the channels and select FX Loop ( Boost)
All channels and features work great with no issues. A few marks on the Tolex on the top on one side, otherwise cosmetically good with minor marks otherwise.
The plastic fins on and giant plastic brand name badge covering the entire font grill blocking the air flow to the tubes and the transformers were discarded in 2024 right after I got this head from Adorama.
The 2 side screws are missing from the sides of the front grill and one from the back. It was just easier for tube experimentation. The chassis and internal components have not been tampered with. Everything works well with no problems or issues.
This amp sounds warmer and fuller now than when the stock bugera tubes were in. The grill is more than secure with the three screws on top. Just bring any one of the top grills screws to a hardware store for a match if you want replacements.
2 new Sovtek 6L6 power tubes next to the back preamp tube with just a few hours on them. Next to that a NOS Matsushita 6CA7 Rare Double Stacked Getter. Last in line is an El34 brown base that I paid $125 for on Reverb that was in perfect condition. They said it was one of the Holy Grails of this kind of tube. I forgot the name, sorry.
3 front preamp tubes are JJ'S. The back preamp tube is Marshall branded. Comes with original foot switch to change the channels and select FX Loop ( Boost)
The tubes in this amp are all in great shape with low hours. When a power tube is bad or going bad on this amp, the light to the corresponding tube will comes on. No lights, no problems.
You can test it out when we meet up. I have a power inverter in my car. Bring your guitar, and pedal to test if you want. If you have questions about this particular amplifier head, there is lots of info and videos online.
