This is one of the most beautiful guitars in my collection. This is the Gibson Custom '68 Les Paul from their custom shop in grey with wood tone pushing through. I know there is no "Top 10" with Gibson, only PRS. I just don't know how to describe this wood tones beauty. I believe it's from 2004, but I purchased in 2014....I went on to Gibson's dating system and I'm more confused then before. It comes with the original hard shell case, case candy and COA (most importantly). I know the pics don't do it justice, but it's a lovely guitar.
Gibson '68 Custom Les Paul in grey with gold hardware would feature a mahogany body, a maple top, and an ebony fretboard with mother-of-pearl block inlays. Key specs include a 1960s Slim Taper C-shaped mahogany neck, gold hardware including an ABR-1 bridge and stop bar, and two '68 Custom Humbucker pickups with a hand-wired harness.
