I bought the bass about 4-5 months ago from SweetWater. I was in a band and the lead singer liked to change keys on a significant amount of songs, and I’m not a fan of pitch shifters in bass, so I bought the 5 string to accommodate the diva. Two months later she quit the band and left us high and dry (not that I’m bitter).
This is probably the nicest, best sounding bass I have ever owned, but I prefer 4-string. I have a decent 4-string, but hoping to recoup some money on this bass since I don’t need it, and then buy a 4-string version.
Long and short of it, you can get a practically brand new bass and case for a few hundred bucks cheaper. I’d also be willing to trade for a similarly valued 4 string. Text is best.
