This is a full scale, prototype fretless bass made by a luthier in Georgia, his company was Coal Mountain Customs. Needless to say, the owner lost interest in bass building and focused on Tele style guitars.
This is the only EB-1 6 string bass in the country.
Yes, it’s quirky, (remember-prototype) though solid, and it has great tone. Electronics are all Guitar Fetish and it has an oil finish, not poly.
Both the body and neck are hand cut, shaped, and finished.
I’ve had it for 5 years, rarely played it as my Fender Jazz is my go-to. I was helping him get a side gig started.
It comes with the case shown.
I “bought” (bartered) it for a lot more than I’m asking and am negotiable on the price.
Please don’t lowball, and scams will be ignored.
