Please note many Ukuleles bought online are beyond what it takes to do a setup without additional work.
Because most Ukes are bought online from ebay, Amazon, and big box chains where the box comes in, the box goes out. No inspection and no setup outside what was done at the factory.
That said I've had quite a few come in with high string action making it harder to play and often high frets that need attention.
A proper set up will make even basic Ukes play like a dream.
It cost's nothing but your time to have your Uke(s) checked out.
I setup every Uke I sell because every Ukes deserves a great set up.
You can check out what a Uke should play like, I have about 100 Ukes on the walls.
So come in relax and let me check out your Uke and let you know what options you have if it needs additional attention.
