Starting Ska/Funk/Jazz Band (Albuquerque)

The goal is to build something energetic and unique that blends: ska/funk/jazz/alternative. Think: Lucky Chops meets The Interrupters with some Twenty One Pilots energy.
This project is completely new no songs yet because I want everyone involved to help write and shape the sound together.
About me:
• Tenor sax player (also alto & soprano)
• Performed with Brittany Bridgewater & The Sparks (Denver, CO)
• Member of ABQ Concert Band & 505 Community Band
• Composer/arranger for multiple groups (concert band, jazz band, piano, etc.)

Looking for people aged 18-25:
• Drums
• Bass
• Guitar (ska / funk rhythm)
• Keys
• Trumpet / Trombone (huge plus)
• Vocalist (big energy stage presence especially)
What I want this band to be:
• Collaborative (everyone contributes ideas)
• High energy (live performance focused)
• Groove-driven (danceable, fun music)
• Open to all influences
