We are looking for an intelligent and committed team player who can manage a variety of tasks essential to the operation of a highly rated independently owned self-storage facility. The job will initially involve working approximately 3 days per week and be willling to work Saturdays if needed. Applicant should be comfortable working on a computer, have knowledge in basic Microsoft programs, and have the ability to learn our self-storage management software. Personal qualities we seek include excellent communication skills, a personable phone manner, caring attitude toward customers, detail-oriented, good organizational skills, flexibility (as tasks vary somewhat from day-to-day), highly responsible, self-motivated to complete tasks without needing to be prompted and deriving pride and satisfaction from a job well done.
The position involves responding to telephone inquiries regarding storage needs, as well as clerical and administrative duties related to the day-to-day self-storage operation. Some cleaning is also required. Experience in office management and hospitality would be helpful.
