1991 ford custom van. 302v8 Aod. No ECM No Sensors.
Not running right now need all the new parts installed. I cannot due to health these days.
Could use a boat, bike, trike, older goldwing or other types of bikes, trailers. car, 4x4, off road, street legal, etc.
I bought the running van for these are the best year for has overdrive transmission that does not need any electronics to work properly. I have removed the computer injection systems from many of these. Going with performance equipment on these 302 (5.0) engines you get 20% more power and about 1 to 1.5 mpg better then the injection that was only made for epa. The facts is a finely tuned engine runs just as clean and starts just as easy.
I got the van very reasonable 1500.00 with it needing a throttle position sensor. It is a horrible job to remove the top hat intakes in a van. Yet all that has been removed. I have all new air gap intake. proper spacer and new unleaded gas holley 4 barrel. I bought a gm hei ignition that we built to fit the ford. Electronic ignition with no computer. 12v wire and vacuum advance is the most dependable you can get. I bought copper core life time plug wires. Everything to do the job and yet now due to health I cannot install the new parts to get the van tunning. Everyone I have done this was has got 15 to 17 mpg as long as you happy with driving 70 mph. if you run 60 you can get as high as 19 not going up hill or into the wind.
I bought 1000.00 worth of performance parts to build this one for me for wheel chair days are in my future again. I am not able to do this anymore so my loss your gain. I need some funds for heat this winter so I will sell it all for 1500.00.
I towed this on my trailer 700 miles and within the last 10 miles the hood flew up and broke the windshield. Bummer. They are 190 installed in ALB. The van would need newer tires for these are old. It would clean up real nice and be very dependable for years to come. I cannot afford to pay others to do work or I would just keep it. Again my loss your gain.
I did cut the a/c line to the rear a/c. Getting lines for a 91 cargo van will have the front air working which is more than enough without all the hassles of twin a/c units off one compressor.
clear texas title.
I could use a good trailer to haul firewood. maybe car or equipment hauler, etc.
