ABQ Marine is seeking an experienced service technician with at least 5 years of hands-on maintenance and repair experience.
Applicants must supply their own basic hand tools. Strong diagnostic skills in electrical and CAN/network systems are preferred, and fiberglass, metal fabrication, and related fabrication experience is a plus.
Candidates must communicate well verbally and in writing, manage time effectively, and work both independently and as part of a team.
Experience researching repairs and preparing customer estimates is required.
Technicians are expected to continue developing their skills and complete manufacturer training as needed. Please provide proof of current credentials and training; a letter of recommendation is encouraged.
Responsibilities include:
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues
- Perform repairs and maintenance on boat engines and systems
- Complete routine engine service, including oil changes, impellers, and outdrive service
- Maintain reliable, on-time attendance
- Work independently and collaboratively
- Ask for help when needed and follow direction
- Provide your own professional hand tools; specialty tools are provided

This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Up to two weeks of vacation are available after the 90-day probation period.
