Renovated ‘95 Safari Trek 2430, 6.5 liter turbo diesel.

Great RV with Class A features in a small coach! Queen bed that descends from the ceiling and a large bath/dressing room in back, leaves space for a large living area and a full-size kitchen. It feels very large inside, no need for a slide. At only 24’ it maneuvers well, has a short turning radius and can get in and out of parking lots without trouble. When empty it gets 15.5 mpg.

“The early pre-Monaco Trek's now hold a venerated status among Safari RV enthusiasts-"Trekkies". This is in part due to the Trek's patented "Electro-Majic Bed" which provided for spacious floor plans. There is as well an exceptionally high build quality that uses a riveted aluminum outer skin in lieu of the more popular tin or fiberglass, real hardwood cabinetry, and a small bus like design that makes the Trek easy to drive and maneuver.”

RENOVATED! Made some modifications to the cabinets; eliminated the tv cabinet over the cab and put up large bins, installed a cabinet across from the couch where the TV rises on a lift, and took out the table that jutted into the kitchen to put in a desk. Also installed soft-close hinges and slides on all the cabinets. About the only thing not done yet was to recover the couch.
