Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Prol Unit in Albuquerque, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Prol Officer a government locion, where you will conduct routine prols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-reled incidents, and support employees and visitors through strong communicion and customer service. In this role, you will bring integrity, reliability, and teamwork to each shift while responding to situions with professionalism and care.

Pay Re: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Wh You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or the public by carrying out assigned security-reled procedures, site-specific policies, and when approprie, emergency response activities a government locion.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situions in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observions and communicing with supervisors and/or local authorities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random prols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locions to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify identificion, credentials, and/or authorizions for employees, visitors, contractors, and vehicles entering restricted or controlled areas.
• Carry and maintain assigned armed post equipment in accordance with Allied Universal standards and site requirements, while remaining prepared to respond to security-reled concerns and requests for assistance.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• CPR and/or First Aid certificion is preferred.
• Be least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigion in accordance with all federal, ste, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicions with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participe in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to ste and/or local laws and regulions and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
