Very nice Asbjörn Hörgård 8.5' bamboo 3 piece "Light Fly" fly rod for trout. Made in Norway likely in the 50s or 60s with a matching Högård Fleusnelle trout reel and silk line in good shape. The rod, cork and guide wraps are in excellent condition for it's age, still true and straight. Ferrules fit nice and tight and pull apart with a good pop which is what you want.

I check the silk like for strength and could not break it so it is still good. Rod is likely about a 6-7wt rod built for Norwegian waters and when trout were larger in general. Would actually make a decent bass rod as well.

Comes with original rod sock and metal tube. Really beautiful setup for vintage fly fishing enthusiasts and to display between outings.
