This old army backhoe unit looks like it was designed to mount on a articulating front end loader. The first arm is about 8 feet pivot to pivot. The outer arm is about 7' from pivot to bucket tooth tip. The bucket is about 24 by 14. We believe this could be restored to functional if someone had the time we don't have. (I was originally going to mount it to the end of a heavy telehandler boom so I did not have to hand dig in places I could not get a regular backhoe--but never had the time to do that.) All the hydraulic control handles are broken. They could be replaced with another 6 position hydraulic valve unit or even a Joy Stick version if you don't like separate handles i.e. you don't have to move you hands from one handle to another. The operator seat mount is there but no seat (seats are easy and cheap to come by). Hoses and maybe seals may need to be replace. The controls placard has come off as shown. As you can see it is currently being held in with a ratchet strap. Bottom line--its being sold as-is for parts, not working.
