Franklin’s Earthmoving, Inc. is hiring a complete, experienced Concrete Crew to tackle all phases of commercial and civil flatwork. We are looking for a hands-on Foreman to lead daily operations, alongside skilled Concrete Finishers adept in site prep, forming, pouring, and finishing. If you take pride in craftsmanship, understand grade/slope, and can deliver high-quality curb, gutter, and flatwork, we want you on our team. All work is local – NO TRAVEL REQUIRED!
Key Responsibilities:
Crew Leadership (Foreman): Manage daily on-site production, personnel, and project budgets. Work side-by-side with the crew and perform manual labor as needed.
Site Preparation & Forming: Interpret blueprints, set forms, and strategically place expansion joints to ensure durability and proper water flow.
Flatwork & Finishing: Pour, level, and finish concrete using troweling and brooming techniques to achieve smooth or textured surfaces.
Curb & Gutter expertise: Safely operate curb machines and freehand curb, gutter, handicap ramps, sidewalks, and drop-inlets.
Qualifications:
Experience:
5+ years of proven concrete construction experience. For the Foreman role, prior supervisory experience is required.
Skills: Strong understanding of slopes, percentages, and reading construction plans.
Licensing: Valid NM Driver’s License with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (CDL is strongly preferred).
Physical Requirements: High physical stamina, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
